| درد جب جاگتا ہے دل کے نہاں خانوں میں
ایک ایک حرف میں معنی کا جہاں کھلتا ہے
دل پہ ہر راز نہاں کھلتا ہے
ہر کسی بات کا مفہوم بدل جاتا ہے
روشنی پھیلنے لگتی ہے اندھیری شب میں
ہر طرف تیرہ فضائوں میں کہیں
رنگ ہی رنگ بکھر جاتے ہیں
درد جب جاگتا ہے دل کہ نہاں خاانوں میں
دل سکوں پاتا ہی ویرانوں میں
سوچ کی شاخ پہ کھلتے ہیںشگوفے کتنے
لفظ آزاد پرندوں کی طرح اڑتے ہیں
فکر رہتی نہیں پھر خوف کے زندانوں میں
درد جب جاگتا ہے دل کہ نہاں خانوں میں
