Clinical Mercury-Free Glass Thermometers
The Geratherm® mercury-free glass clinical thermometers are the only glass thermometers that function just like a standard mercury thermometer, without the dangers of mercury or the need for batteries. They are a safe, accurate and cost effective alternative to mercury thermometers. The substance that replaces mercury is a non-toxic liquid alloy called "Galinstan®."
The exterior shell of the Geratherm glass thermometers are made of a medical grade glass that can be cleaned with warm soapy water and/or an alcohol swab.
