Schedule of Trials for HEC Intervarsity Cricket Tournament

Virtual University of Pakistan is pleased to announce that it is registered to participate in the upcoming Intervarsity Cricket Tournament organized by HEC at Comsats Islamabad. The date of commencement of the event is February 10, 2013.

Therefore, trials for the selection of VU cricket team have been planned according to the following schedule:

INSTRUCTIONS:

· Students must bring their valid VU ID Card.

· Students must be regular student of university, freeze/withdrawn students will not be eligible to participate.

· Students reaching the venue after 10:30am will not be entertained.

· No TA/DA will be given.

· Age limit is 27 years.

· Professionals who have represented any Department in the past are not eligible.

VU-MCS-MIT Applications Invited for VU-Bytes Team

Dear All

Applications are invited for the following voluntary posts of VU-Bytes for a tem of one year from March 2013 to 2014.

Editor: Edits the collected articles suitable for publishing, moderates the content, and gives back reviews to the authors.

Sub-Editor: Assists the editor in tasks of moderation and reviews the content submitted by students.

Campus Representative: Acts as a representative for a particular campus.

Proof Readers: Will be responsible for proof reading the content submitted by students to ensure the linguistic accuracy.

Page Designer: Designs the e-Magazine's pages and produces in PDF format and further forwards the documents to Web

Content Management Team.

Web Content Manager : Processes the digital content online, sends e-Mail notifications to students, manages social networking sites; uploads e-Magazines.

Content Writers: Those interested in writing can become our regular content writers
