Clinical Mercury-Free Glass Thermometers

The Geratherm^® mercury-free glass clinical thermometers are the only glass thermometers that function just like a standard mercury thermometer, without the dangers of mercury or the need for batteries. They are a safe, accurate and cost effective alternative to mercury thermometers. The substance that replaces mercury is a non-toxic liquid alloy called "Galinstan^®."

The exterior shell of the Geratherm glass thermometers are made of a medical grade glass that can be cleaned with warm soapy water and/or an alcohol swab. In the event the thermometer breaks, the Galinstan can be easily wiped up using standard hospital cleaners. We offer a lifetime warranty against any manufacturer's defects.

The Geratherm glass thermometers have successfully completed IRB sanctioned clinical trials at the Oregon Health and Science University. The Thermometer is also FDA and CE approved.
