اتنا برا نہ کہنا مجھے بے وفا نہ کہنا
میری مجبوری کو کبھی تم جفا نہ کہنا
تم میری چاہتوں کی سچائی جان لینا
یہ تو حقیقت ہے اس کو دغا نہ کہنا
میں نے مسکراہٹ میں ہر درد چھپایا ہے
کبھی آنسوؤں کی صورت میری ادا نہ بہنا
جو پیار نہ ملا تو چاہت نے حوصلہ دیا
میری وفا حیات ہے اس کو قضا نہ کہنا
ہم تم سے دور رہ کر بھی جی گئے جاناں
ہم تیرے آس پاس ہیں ہم کو جدا نہ کہنا
اے کاش میری نیند تمہارے ہی خواب دے
خوابوں کو واپسی کا کوئی راستہ نہ کہنا
عظمٰی میرا خیال ہی میری حقیقت ہے
میرے تخیلات کو دیکھو خلا نہ کہنا
