محّبت یاد رکھتی ہے

وصال و ہجر میں
یا خوا ب سے محروم آنکھوں میں
کِسی عہدِ رفاقت میں
کہ تنہائی کے جنگل میں
خیال خال وخد کی روشنی کے گہر ے بادل میں
چمکتی دُھوپ میں یا پھر
کِسی بے اَبر سائے میں
کہیں بارش میں بھیگے جسم وجاں کی نثر پاروں میں
کہیں ہونٹوں پہ شعروں کی مہکتی آبشاروں میں
چراغوں کی سجی شاموں میں
یابے نُور راتوں میں
سحر ہو رُونما جیسے کہیں باتوں ہی باتوں میں
کوئی لپٹا ہوا ہو جس طرح
صندل کی خوشبوؤں میں
کہیں پر تتلیوں کے رنگ تصویریں بناتے ہوں
کہیں جگنوؤں کی مٹھیوں میں روشنی خُود کو چھُپاتی ہو
کہیں کیسا ہی منظر ہو
کہیں کیسا ہی موسم ہو
ترے سارے حوالوں کو
تری ساری مثالوں کو

محّبت یادرکھتی ہے
